Recently completed a website for CLOAQ.com, a defensive line of fashionable clothing which shields consumers from forms of non-ionizing radiation such as cell phones and EMF (Electromagnetic Fields).

What “IT” is all about

Sometimes people don’t realize what they have until much later.

When I worked for the Independent Tribune in 2007, I tried to get the folks there to understand that it was all about branding and using the web and print mediums together symbiotically and not parisitically.

The idea was to have this icon appear in the paper anywhere there was more information on a story or there was something significant on the web they should check out.

“Talk about IT. Read about IT. Blog about IT.” IT was the Independent Tribune.

This didn’t catch on until after I left and a new regime that “got it” took over.

One of my favorite projects while working at the Salisbury Post was working on a flash interactive for Black History Month in 2008.

Centering around the environment

One of my duties during the latter months while I worked for Evening Post Publishing was to create mock-ups of websites to be built by folks in Texas, (Never mind that I could have built them myself, but the workflow was that I was to design it, they would build it).

This website design is for the Salisbury Post website and the Catawba College Center for the Environment, and is copyrighted by Evening Post Publishing. I created this design as an employee. There should be no confusion. I am posting this screen shot as an example of my design process and capability.

The folks in Texas finished the site after I left the company. I did not have any input or involvement on the current site. I created a cream-colored, lighter mock as well.
