MIAMI – The NFL has an unwritten rule barring teams from saying or doing anything to distract from the hypefest of Super Bowl week. If you’re going to announce something, do it before or after, but not during that week.

CHARLOTTE – When basketball is the game and the game is on the line, it has always been a pretty good idea to turn to Michael Jordan.
Winston-Salem Journal | Johnson has dream that Jordan can score again
SO, HERE WE go again.
For the second time, an NBA franchise has turned its front office over to Michael Jordan. For somewhere between $10 million and $20 million, Jordan bought part of the Charlotte Bobcats authority over basketball decisions.
Another team banks on Jordan to be as great a basketball mind in a suit as he was in a uniform.

It’s easy to make Michael Jordan a target and mock his tenure in Washington now that he is in a decision-making position as part-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats. But Jordan did a pretty good job of running the Wizards. He made no more mistakes than most general managers make.

Kind of scared about drafting Rudy Gay, we lacked a guy to go to late in the game that can hit the big shot. Morrison and Roy can-Gay can’t. I think that alone costs us 10 games or more.
I agree Brandon, this team lacks a true go-to player, and Gay is a huge question mark in that respect.
I think there mind is made up. First May-Then Gay both bad picks. Maybe I am wrong, but I’m just not impressed with him. If Roy and Morrison are gone then take Bargnani and run him at Power Forward and open up the middle for Omeka(at center). It works for Dirk and Dampier,Rasheed and Ben Wallace. Dampier is 6-10 and Ben is 6-9. Omeka is 6-10, you can not say it would not work. If Bargnani is there take him! Have you seen this guy? If all 3 of them are gone, then I can live with Rudy.
I like Barganani as well. I would rather have him over Gay, personally.
